Knowledge Creation And Green Entrepreneurship: A Study Of Two Vietnamese Green Firms

    Get PDF
This paper aims to advance the understanding and practice of knowledge-based management in Vietnam by studying two Vietnamese agricultural companies. It provides illustrative examples of how knowledge-based management, pursuing a vision that fosters creativity and innovation by employees, could ultimately fulfil the profitability objective of the business and at the same time add value to the community’s quality of life. Using the SECI model as the parameter for analysis, we found that knowledge creation processes were affected by a combination of leadership, teamwork and Ba, corporate culture, and human resource management. Our conclusion emphasises the need for future research to further examine the practice of knowledge-based management in cross-industry segments in Vietnam and in other countries with similar conditions

Dataset Diffusion: Diffusion-based Synthetic Dataset Generation for Pixel-Level Semantic Segmentation

Preparing training data for deep vision models is a labor-intensive task. To address this, generative models have emerged as an effective solution for generating synthetic data. While current generative models produce image-level category labels, we propose a novel method for generating pixel-level semantic segmentation labels using the text-to-image generative model Stable Diffusion (SD). By utilizing the text prompts, cross-attention, and self-attention of SD, we introduce three new techniques: class-prompt appending, class-prompt cross-attention, and self-attention exponentiation. These techniques enable us to generate segmentation maps corresponding to synthetic images. These maps serve as pseudo-labels for training semantic segmenters, eliminating the need for labor-intensive pixel-wise annotation. To account for the imperfections in our pseudo-labels, we incorporate uncertainty regions into the segmentation, allowing us to disregard loss from those regions. We conduct evaluations on two datasets, PASCAL VOC and MSCOCO, and our approach significantly outperforms concurrent work. Our benchmarks and code will be released at https://github.com/VinAIResearch/Dataset-DiffusionComment: Accepted to NeurIPS 2023. Our project page: https://dataset-diffusion.github.io

After using the conventional scientific research methods, observing the steps of document synthesis, interviewing, and checking the reliability of the questionnaire through Cronbach's Alpha, the paper has come up with five quantitative assessment criteria and eight qualitative assessment questions of the content and forms of extracurricular sports activities for students at secondary schools in Tay Ninh province. This research has contributed to renewing the content and forms of extracurricular sports activities for students at secondary school.  Article visualizations

THE CONTENT AND METHODS OF CONDUCTING EXTRA-CURRICULAR SPORTS FOR LOWER SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN TAY NINH PROVINCE, VIETNAM

    Get PDF
The paper aims to provide a comprehensive, scientific and thorough description of the content and methods of how extra-curricular sports activities are conducted for lower secondary school students in Tay Ninh province. To investigate the dependable data, the research employed a range of trustworthy approaches including document synthesizing, interviewing the students and PE teachers in some lower secondary schools, and evaluating the gathered data. The results indicate that the most popular sports among the PE teachers and students are football, badminton, and volleyball which are mostly organized in group, class, and club practice, without an instructor. About the practice durations, it generally ranges from thirty minutes to two hours, equating to two or three sessions at school. Moreover, these activities usually take place in school, and it is mainly held in the afternoon or after theoretical learning.   Article visualizations

THE DIVERSITY OF YELLOW CAMELLIAS IN THE CENTRAL HIGHLANDS, VIETNAM

    Get PDF
The Central Highlands (Tây Nguyên) is a center of yellow camellia diversity in Vietnam and the world. The Central Highlands contains 18 of Vietnam’s yellow camellia species, accounting for 37% of yellow camellia species in Vietnam and 28% of yellow camellia species worldwide. Moreover, all 18 yellow camellia species in the Central Highlands are endemic to Vietnam. The camellias of the Central Highlands belong to nine sections, accounting for 75% of the world. The yellow colors occur in three groups: pale yellow, yellow, and yellow with compound colors. The yellow camellia distribution is dispersed at 500–1600 m elevation in evergreen broadleaf forests and mixed wood-bamboo forests

THE ANALYSIS OF FLUID DYNAMICS OF WAVE POWER STATION WITH WELLS TURBIN BY CFD

    Get PDF
Natural energy such as wind, wave and other natural vibrations is one of the high potential renewable energy sources. The Wells turbine is based on the use of bidirectional turbines, which act as axial-flow self-rectifying turbines that employs a symmetrical blade profile and rotating unidirectionally in reciprocating airflows generated by the air chamber to extract energy from vibrations. These topics have been extensively studied both numerically and experimentally such as research on the parameters of the effects of structure, angle of attack, blade shape, etc. In this paper, numerical simulation is carried out using commercially available tool Fluent for fluid dynamics analysis and focus on oscillating predictions, with particular attention to the behavior of the flow. Based on the Numerical Wave Tank (NWT) model is simulated in a two dimensional used in this model, which is constructed mainly based on the spatially averaged Navier Stokes equation with the k-ε model for simulating the turbulence and modeled with Volume of Fluid (VOF). Axial-flow turbines system and future development as well as the proposed limitations will be discussed in detail

Identify aerodynamic derivatives of the airplane attitude channel using a spiking neural network

    Get PDF
The paper proposes a method for identifying aerodynamic coefficient derivatives of aircraft attitude channel using spiking neural network (SNN) and Gauss-Newton algorithm based on data obtained from actual flights. Using SNN combination with Gauss-Newton iterative calculation algorithm allows the identification of aerodynamic coefficient derivatives in a nonlinear model for aerodynamic parameters with higher accuracy and faster calculation time. The paper proposes an algorithm to train the SNN multi-layer network by Normalized Spiking Error Back Propagation (NSEBP), in which, in the forward propagation period, the time of output spikes is calculating by solving quadratic equations instead of detection by traditional methods. The phase of propagation of errors backward uses the step-by-step calculation instead of the conventional gradient calculation method. The identification results are compared with the results when using the RBN network to prove the algorithm efficienc

Experiments and optimization for the WEDM process: A trade-off analysis between surface quality and production rate

    Get PDF
This work addressed a parameter optimization to simultaneously decrease the root mean square roughness (Rq) as well as the thickness of the white layer (TW) and improve the material removal rate (MRR) for the wire electro-discharge machining (WEDM) of a stainless steel 304 (SS304). The factors considered are the discharge current (C), the gap voltage (VO), the pulse on time (POT), and the wire drum speed (SP). The interpolative radius basic function (RBF) is applied to show the correlation between the varied factors and WEDM performances measured. The optimal selection is chosen using the multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO). Moreover, a traditional one using the response surface method (RSM) and desirability approach (DA) is adopted to compare the working efficiency of two optimization techniques. The results showed that the optimal findings of the C, POT, VO, and SP are 5.0 A, 1.0 µs, 61.0 V, and 8.0 m/min, respectively. The values of the Rq and TW are decreased by approximately 33.33% and 23.53%, respectively, while the MRR enhances 47.42% at the optimal selection, as compared to the common values used. The BRF-MOPSO can provide better performance than the RSM-DA
